
The University expects all researchers, be they staff, students or visitors to the University, to abide by national, European and international standards of research integrity.
The University Statement on Research Integrity sets out the University's commitment to upholding the principles in the UUK Concordat to Support Research Integrity.
As part of its commitment to the principles of the Concordat, the University provides information, guidance and resources relating to research integrity to support researchers to maintain the highest standards of integrity in research.
As set on these webpages, this includes:
- providing research integrity training
- sharing guidance relating to good research practice and research integrity
- offering sources of support, advice and guidance for researchers in need of assistance in relation to
- conducting ethical research (see research ethics webpages)
- legal and professional obligations (see research governance pages)
- the best practice in research, particularly
- setting out policies that relate to research integrity issues including:
- signposting to key internal and external contact points for matters relating to research integrity, ethics and governance and also other internal contacts/sources of support related to others matters
